John wishes he'd said something to her before she took another man as her lover.

She's still his leaning post; he knows she'll be there when he needs her in a fight - just as he knows Rodney will try to over-think them out of the situation, and Ronon will be out in front like a hound to the hunt. She'll back him up, anchor him when he does the hero thing, and cross staves with him in the gym.

But on this question - on the question of 'them' - he didn't say anything to Teyla.
